Synopsis

Four years have passed since the end of season three—four years during which Julie, Maxime, and Bob have drifted apart.

Julie is now the head of Catharsis, a secretive squad protected by a court order that prevents its investigative techniques from being disclosed to the public. Specializing in cold cases, she designs elaborate psychological traps to extract confessions from murderers.

Meanwhile, Bob has become the head of the Homicide Squad, and Maxime has been transferred to diplomatic protection, now living in Ottawa.

While working on unsolved murders, Julie begins to suspect that she’s dealing with a serial killer—one who mimics the crimes of other murderers to conceal their true identity. To crack this case, she seeks out Maxime, convincing him to team up with her once again.

Bob soon realizes that his investigation overlaps with Catharsis, making it harder for him to maintain his case resolution rate. Determined, he uncovers enough clues to force Julie to acknowledge his findings, ultimately leading her to share information with him. This unexpected alliance pushes Bob, Julie, and Maxime to collaborate on this complex case.

Meanwhile, Carla—recently released from prison—is recruited as an undercover agent by Julie and Maxime. She proves to be remarkably skilled in the role, but her unpredictable actions frequently put the entire operation at risk.

To catch this elusive killer, Julie, Maxime, and Bob must set aside their differences and work together once more.
