Synopsis
The very first season of the new series True North takes us back to the origins of the characters we came to love and the story that was never broadcast on television. It immerses us in the late 19th century, during the historical period of settlement and the development of these northern lands. The dramatic series highlights the challenges of colonizing this Quebec "Wild West," addressing, without compromise, Séraphin's scheming, the relentless colonization efforts of Curé Labelle, the political issues, and the role of the church, as well as the unpredictable fate of amazing characters, including the passionate love triangle between Séraphin, Alexis, and Donalda.
