Synopsis

Montreal, 1979, three years later. Stronger, more fragile, and more popular than ever, Mac now appears on a daily TV show while continuing his radio work. But after taking action following a friend’s death, he gets caught in a dangerous spiral that could be his downfall.

Despite his tumultuous love life, Mac remains close to his loyal friend Hector Dupuis. Lili has become a newspaper photographer. Meanwhile, in the criminal underworld, the Creepers biker gang, led by Karl "Tiger" Tougas, dreams of overthrowing their Italian bosses, the Di Felippos. Léo Piché has lost everything but is determined to climb back up the criminal hierarchy. On the police side, Sly is leading an infiltration operation into the underworld while also pursuing a personal vendetta against his corrupt colleague Lebel.

Mac continues to answer desperate calls for help—from an alleged pedophile, a chronically indebted man with paranoid delusions, the father of a runaway teen, and a victim of wrongful conviction seeking justice.

Regularly exposed to violence and danger, Mac feels increasingly isolated. His growing concerns about how his choices affect his family, son, and loved ones force him to question whether every truth should be revealed, no matter the cost.
