Synopsis
A mariachi performs at a Latin bar when a bullet pierces his forehead right in the middle of his song. Just before this event, the police’s seizure of a "container" carrying kilos of cocaine at Montreal’s Old Port sends shockwaves through the organized crime world of Lanaudière. The Mexican cartel members based in Mascouche, along with their biker allies, are left with one question: who is the mole behind this operation? What is the connection between the mariachi’s murder and the raid?
Things quickly spiral out of control in Mascouche. Albert Scott-Ducharme, an intellectual radio host and columnist, gets caught up in this mess, despite his best efforts. How, and more importantly, why?
The Mascouche squad will have to untangle this massive mess that once again brings together wildly different worlds: a Mexican cartel, a tinted windows company, a pet crematorium, a recently retired humanitarian worker, and the radio columns of a right-wing intellectual. This will all unfold into something no one could have ever anticipated...
