Synopsis
Two years after the cataclysm of Season II, just as everyone believes they’ve found their footing, no one suspects that the ultimate crash is still ahead. In a fragile world, marked by political polarization, climate change, and cultural crisis, the final season of Avant le crash explores a central question: What is the value of a life if it leaves no trace? And as our characters approach their forties, how do they envision the next ten years of their lives?
Through a rich tapestry of complex characters, Olstrom becomes involved in a major societal project: Quebec’s digital and cultural sovereignty. In a world where our southern neighbors bombard us with threats, data hosting and cultural preservation have become urgent priorities. The ultimate crash won’t just be financial, it will be existential, shaking us to our very core. Our group of friends will have to face the most fundamental questions: What kind of society will we leave to our children? And will we be able to sleep soundly, knowing full well that we’ve abandoned them?
